Why am I a franchise broker?

I believe that the most critical step in franchising is the selection of the right franchise. I help my clients with that decision. Sometimes during the investigation and research they discover that small business ownership isn’t the correct path for them. Often it is the investment capital, sometimes it is simply too big of a decision for them to make.

But when someone finds that business that will let them design their future and the future of their family exactly as they had always dreamed. Then I have truly been honored with assisting them in making their dream come true.

As a former franchise owner and franchise CEO I understand both sides of the business. But selecting a business franchise can be confusing and at times intimidating process. I can help by mentoring and coaching you along the way, keeping you on track and focused on the relevant issues. Owning your own business can be a rewarding experience and often a dream come true. What is my experience?

I have over twenty years of experience both as a franchise owner and a franchise CEO. I owned a chain of fifteen Fantastic Sams haircutting franchises and later served as President of my own franchise company which developed the Fantastic Sams brand and franchise outlets throughout Atlanta and North and South Carolina. Over the years I have helped hundreds of men and women start and grow their franchise businesses.

I am an expert in Area Development and Master Franchises having developed those programs from scratch for the Roni Deutch Tax Centers. I recruited, trained and was the lead support person for the entire Area Development program.

I’ve also worked as a consultant in various capacities in multiple franchise industries including fast food, home improvement, cleaning, hair care, and more.

What are my credentials?

I have authored many articles and maintain a blog on franchising. I am the Founder of The Franchise Learning Channel a website dedicated to educating people about how to buy a franchise. I also serve as a business counselor to the Small Business Administration through the SCORE program helping people to start and grow all types of businesses.
